After careful consideration, I have decided to extend the deadline on the contest. I am attempting to make the contest more public and reach a broader audience before judging the final letters. I have received some wonderful letters and look forward to reading many more. The deadline is now December 31st.



Chrissy Perkins Photography is giving away free deluxe photo sessions to THREE lucky winners. All you have to do is write a short letter about why you deserve a free photo session from Chrissy Perkins Photography.

Chickie Monkies Clothing Store ( NOW OPEN)

Chickie Monkies Clothing Store has officially opened with a bang!

Chickie Monkies is a children's clothing store that is located in downtown Morehead, Ky next to Papa John's Pizza & Chris's Guitar Shop. They have a wide variety of sizes including diaper bags, accessories and children's jewelry. The store is decorated in a jungle theme and there are tv's throughout the store playing kid friendly cartoons.

Chickie Monkies asked me to provide wall decoration with samples of my work. There are various poster sized portraits of children throughout the store that were donated by yours truly. All the kids in the photos belong to either the owner, manager or their family's. Here are a few of the photos you'll see on their wall:

The Grand Opening was yesterday and I was there to provide FREE photos with Santa. It was a hit! We had a huge turnout and everyone had a great time! Below you'll find a sample of the pictures (the boy is my Mason):

Magical Christmas Tree Walk--Morehead Conference Center

There are a number of beautifully decorated trees and wreaths, including a CHRISSY PERKINS PHOTOGRAPHY tree that is covered with over 200 pictures! You never know, your picture (or your child's picture) might be on the tree!

Its FREE to the public to view the trees! You can pay $1 and vote on the best tree (HINT, HINT)! There is a silent auction going on until Nov 29th.
